Regarding framing prices:
Due to the fragile nature of pastel, these pieces are not complete without a frame. Dust, sun, and even gentle touch can destroy the piece.
If you already have experience framing fine art, if you are extremely peculiar about your interior decor, or if you simply cannot afford fine art framing; select the ‘I’ll frame it myself option’ and use either www.robinimaging.com, a local fine art framer, or https://frameiteasy.com/. Your piece will be shipped to you in a cardboard mailing tube for about $20.
If you can afford professional framing and you want me to handle it, please select one of the ‘frame it for me’ options, and I’ll ensure that it is beautifully framed and safely packaged for shipping so that when it arrives, it only needs to be removed from the box before it can be hung and enjoyed. This is a particularly good choice if purchasing a piece for someone else, so that your recipient doesn’t have to do any extra work or spend any extra money to enjoy their gift.
As I understand the price of professional framing can be jarring, all ‘Frame it for me’ orders will also come with a high-resolution TIFF file of the finished piece, so that no matter what, the work will be preserved in its original color and clarity forever. This file can also be used to make prints, ornaments, personalized items, cards, and so on.
